Drawing at the Getty

Went to the Getty recently with some school buddies. First time going there to draw. I found a photo that I saw online once but didn't know who's it was. Turns out it was a photographer named Paul Outerbridge and the photo was from 1938! I have to read more about him and his career, the few highlights I've gleaned so far are very interesting. He was an illustrator early on, and later was a photographer for Vogue in Paris. Interesting...

Since this is a school work blog, after all, I'll post an image I did for my children's book class about a year ago. Though it isn't a children's book, Ender's Game is awesome if you know how to dork out to sci-fi novels. I do, I'm a master.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this is a book cover project. But now I realize I never put the title on the spine. But the right side is the front cover, left is the back.
